Founded in 2022, Russell Services is a multi-generational business rooted in honoring those who came before us. Built from the ground up with grit and determination, our foundation carries the fingerprints of generations past—and the vision for those to come.
The name Russell was chosen as a tribute to Grandpa Russell. A man of quiet character and dry humor, he was known for spending long nights in the shop, burning the midnight oil and working tirelessly to keep things running. His steady dedication and humble way of life continue to shape who we are today.
Owner Tom Schwalbach began his career as a custom cabinet maker. In 1982, he opened a shop in Bay View, crafting custom cabinets built to order with care and precision. As the market evolved, Tom adapted—transitioning into home remodeling and general contracting, where his craftsmanship and commitment to quality continued to set the standard.
General Manager, Dustin Schwalbach, bought his first plow truck at just 15 years old. After putting in countless hours working on it, he began plowing snow at 16—studying during the day and heading out at night once his schoolwork was done. Like his father and grandfather before him, Dustin enjoys working with his hands, building alongside quality people, and finding meaningful solutions for customers. Over the years, his father has often said he “acts like a Russell”—a testament to the same grit and character that inspired the name and continues to carry on through him.
Warren Russell carries on the legacy of the generations before him. Having spent years watching his father repair, build, and operate equipment, he has naturally embraced what it means to be a Russell. Whether he chooses to join the business or blaze his own trail in pursuit of his dreams, we look forward with excitement and confidence in the future ahead of him.
